I'll dream before a cozy fire, a favorite book at hand
or watch the flames and travel off to strange and foreign lands.
I will wile away the hours , doing as the heart desires,
through the winter reminiscing by a warm and cozy fire.
Our library welcomes Kay Marckmann who will be working with children's programing and working where ever she Is needed. She is here to checkout your books and answer your questions so stop in and say "hello!"

There is a feeling in the air
of new life coming everywhere.
In beast and bird and creeping thing;
of earth responsive to the spring;
of joy and beauty gathered here,
And heaven bending very near.
The library is hosting an Usborne book fair for children's books starting at 10:00 am-7:00, Tuesday, April 8th. Wonderful, beautiful books! A treasure trove of books and a feast for the eye and mind.
A ladies neighborhood coffee group met at the library this morning. There were twelve who enjoyed coffee and coffee cake and conversation. This will be the beginning of a regular gathering on Wednesdays and Fridays every week at 9:00-10:00 and anyone is welcome. It is our hope that the library will become a "home away from home" offering a friendly place to meet.
